Which Ascendant am I?
What is an ascendant/rising? In an astrology chart, the ascendant also known as rising sign is the personality of the person. It’s the way a person is perceived by others. It’s the mask put on and shows to the world. You may call it a filter. For example, on Instagram you have an option to put a filter on your pictures. The picture would be you (your sun) and the filter would be your mask; personality (your ascendant). Sometimes it’s shown through your physical appearance. My ascendant in my natal chart is Gemini Rising 29 degrees 55 mins. Quite often, I am put as a Cancer Rising. I can understand why its push to the next sign since I’m a hop, skip and a jump away from Cancer. However, this confuses me because I’ve never identified with Cancer.
