San Francisco Girls Trip

Image
"The coldest winter I ever saw was the summer I spent in San Francisco." ~ Mark Twain. ✈️ Mark Twain was right. It was freaking cold in May. And yes May is not summer but it's close to it and it shouldn't have been that cold. The first time I went to San Francisco was sometime in November 2009 (the correct year was 2008) and during the day wasn't so bad but at night it was freezing cold. I thought that was normal for November but not for May. On my first trip to San Francisc o, I was there for my sorority sister's wedding and we explored the city and later went to Napa. On my second trip to San Francisco, I got to explore Sonoma and Napa but not without stop at the famous Golden Gate Bridge. By the way, the best place to take pictures of the Golden Gate Bridge, in my humble opinion, is at Fort Point National Historic Site. Not too many people know about this place so it's not crowded at all. Go and check it my new San Fran video and

Adventure at Grand Canyon

Adventure is worthwhile.” ~ Aesop. While in Vegas, we decided to take a tour to the Grand Canyon. Visiting the Grand Canyon, South Rim, was an incredible experience. Even though the journey getting there was a bit long, it was well worth it. There are about 10 trails at the South Rim and about 5 trails at the North Rim. Since we were at the South Rim we took the South Kaibab trail. The South Kaibab Trail is one of the trails that follows the ridgelines that provide panoramic views of the main gorge. In my video, I give you a fun tip when visiting the Grand Canyon. For more on Grand Canyon check on my latest video " 5 Favorite Things of Vegas"  —->  https://youtu.be/2vN-tD3- 9ww

5 Favorite Things of Vegas

5 Favorite Things of Vegas My 5 Favorite Things of Vegas, a Las Vegas Travel Guide. I've been to Vegas several times and I feel like this last time I was able to explore and enjoy Vegas. In this video, I share with you my "5 Favorite Things of Vegas". 1. Tournament of Kings - Tournament of Kings is a dinner and show at the Excalibur. It's a great show because it has a lot of swording fighting and jousting and it's live. It's quite entertaining. And the food was not too shabby. 2. Cirque Du Soleil shows - All of the Cirque Du Soleil shows are fantastic. This time around I saw "Ka" and "Love". Ka, to me, was more entertaining, more production, beautiful costumes and set, and the story line was captivating. While Love felt like watching a music video. Still an awesome show but between the two, I love KA more. 3. Grand Canyon - Yes, I know Grand Canyon is not in Las Vegas But if you get tired of clubbing and gambling, the

The Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens

Image
The Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens is one of the attractions at Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Conservatory & Botanical Gardens are filled with beautiful trees and flowers. It is said that they change the gardens according to the seasons. The first time I visited the Bellagio Hotel, I remember walking through the lobby and seeing these bright oranges, browns umbrellas. The lobby area is something that is spectacular. You can sit there for a white and admire these umbrellas. I had never seen a hotel quite like this before and instantly it became one of my favorite hotels on The Vegas Strip. I remember the colors were vibrant. Unfortunately, my time was cut short and had to leave so I couldn’t see everything that the gardens had to offer. The second time around, I was able to walk around and explore the gardens. The flowers were pink, yellow, and purple and lemon trees. They had displays of butterflies, the sun, the moon, umbrellas, minia

The LINQ High Roller Las Vegas and the reason I didn't go on it.

Image
Kid you not, you can see The LINQ High Roller Las Vegas from miles away.  This thing is gigantic.  It has been said that it's bigger than the London Eye. It's considered the world's largest observation wheel.  The LINQ High Roller Las Vegas is located at The LINQ Promenade.  I highly recommend walking around the Promenade. There are a lot of shops, restaurants, and a great area for walking.   Now, I didn't go on it for several reasons. One, I get bored very easily. Yes, you can get on the High Roller and see some nice views of the city, but after 20 minutes or less, I want to do something else. I will not be able to get off and have to wait 40 minutes to get off. I don't like to be restricted like that.  Second, you can't go to the bathroom. You can drink while riding The High Roller but you can't go to the bathroom. What if you have the urge to go? You have to wait about an hour to get off the ride.  You have to go to the bathroom before you get

Travel Tip of the Day for Milan, Italty

Image
A spectacular view for the top of Milan Cathedral.   Travel tip of the day: Don't take the stairs to get to the top of the  Milan Cathedral.  T ake the elevator to the top of cathedral to save time and energy. You still have to take still more steps to the very top of the  Milan Cathedral.  I t's better to converse your energy for the top stairs and be able to enjoy the view without being out of breath and tired.  For more on Milan, Italy, check this video out -->  https://youtu.be/jH2-KaDtYl8
